PVV leader Geert Wilders and the VVD Liberals’ Mark Rutte are still in talks with MPs about restarting negotiations on forming a right-wing cabinet with the Christian Democrats.

Negotiations to form a coalition in the Netherlands have collapsed after the leader of the far-right Freedom Party, Geert Wilders, walked out.
Mr Wilders said he did not trust some members of the Christian Democrats to adhere to any agreement reached.
Some Christian Democrats have expressed deep reservations about any deal with Mr Wilders because of his strong anti-Islamic and anti-immigration views.
It has been announced that Dutch head of state Queen Beatrix will hold fresh meetings early next week to discuss how coalition talks should proceed.

THE HAGUE — Leftist Dutch political parties on Saturday expressed “relief” at the failure of negotiations to form a rightist coalition government backed by controversial anti-Islam MP Geert Wilders.
Queen Beatrix began a new consultation round on Monday as efforts to put together a new cabinet for the Netherlands continue.
