Support Geert Wilders in London on 5th March 2010: In support of Democracy, Free Speech and Civil Liberties

An event to support Geert Wilders when he comes to show Fitna in the House of Lords has been announced on Facebook:

Details about this demonstration can be found on Facebook, where there is the following information. Please consult the Facebook page for more information, or for updates or changes:

Geert Wilders has been invited to show his short film Fitna in the House of Lords on 5 March 2010.

The purpose of this rally is not to attack Islam or Muslims, but rather to show support for Geert Wilders and to celebrate the achievements of Western Civilization. Namely Democracy, Free Speech and Human Rights.

Just under a year ago the Labour Government barred him entry to the country after Nazir Ahmed threatened to bring 10 000 Muslims to besiege the Houses of Parliament. To censor opposing views in a democracy is a moral outrage and suggests an inclination towards tyranny and appeasement on the part of the Government. Of course the Government was subsequently forced to remove this ridiculous ban and now Geert Wilders can finally get to show his film in the House of Lords.

In Holland the latest attempt of the Dutch ruling class to keep Wilders from office has begun, Mr. Wilders is on trial in the Netherlands for telling the truth. This trial will have unparalleled significance for the future of Europe. It is not just about whether our culture will survive, but whether we are even allowed to state the fact that it is being threatened.

Mr Wilders visit will be only a couple of months prior to the expected British general election, and the issue of Islamization is something that many in Great Britain are acutely concerned about. Hopefully, his visit will help break the taboo about discussion of Sharia in Great Britain and encourage an open and honest debate on the subject in the run-up to the General Election.

Show your support for Geert Wilders, Democracy and Free Speech by attending this rally on the 5th March 2010.

I support Geert Wilders, everything he says is true its reality we are changing or ways for foreigners with a differnt religion. Listen to what he is saying he is not showing hate he is standing up for his land and backround as if any other muslim country would do the sAME.

Dear Sean,

I’ll have to meet the first person in my life who’s always right. I’m not, you’re not and Geert Wilders is not. We all are merely human.

Just for your information: 84% from all Dutch people beg to differ completely with the views and political beliefs from Geert Wilders. Just putting things into perspective here, so you know.

I don’t believe the issue is about whether you agree or disagree with Mr. Wilders, I think it is about whether he, as a free citizen of a democratic nation, as the right to express his opinions and viewpoints. One wonders why a Muslim is free to stand in the street and clearly utter death threats against others who disagree with them(nobody interferes with them and charges them with inciting violence!), while Geert is harassed for merely showing the dark side of Islam. Islam is NOT first and foremost a religious ideology, it is a totalitarian ideology much like Fascism or Communism, and should be decried on that basis. I denounce all charges against Mr. Wilders.

Why should we tolerate the intolerant? We will all ignore Geert Wilders at our peril. The muslim population, through its birthrate, is growing at such a rate that the indiginous British population will be outnumbered in possibly 25 to30 years, and do you think they will tolerate non-believers – I think not! We have a Muslim Police Association a Black Police Association but do we have a White Police Association – No, it’s not allowed but only whites can be racist???????? Wake up before it’s too late, sign the petition in support of Geert:

Dear Myra Valcourt,

Regarding your comment as for freedom of speech, in this case related to Mr. Geert Wilders: Dutch law provides in freedom. At the same time this freedom is limited to avoid abuse and all consequences coming with abuse. This has been formulated in art. 137 from Dutch law. Thus, in essence this is not about Islam; it’s about complying Dutch law. Exactly this is at stake at the ongoing trial. A legal issue handled by Dutch court – exactly the way it should be and 84% from Dutch inhabitants agree with.

Islam is not just another religion it is a whole socio-political, religious, cultural, educational, judiciary and military system which is incompatible with democracy. Therefore Islam must be stopped at all costs.
